A. Marvin Quattlebaum, Jr. is a partner of the firm Nelson, Mullins, Riley & Scarborough LLP in Greenville where he practices in the areas of business litigation and product liability litigation. Mr. Quattlebaum's experience includes litigation involving transportation industry products, contracts, business torts, trade secrets, federal and state unfair trade practices, securities laws, shareholder and partnership laws, commercial and consumer laws, and technology contracts. Mr. Quattlebaum has extensive experience in class action litigation, and he is trained and experienced in Alternative Dispute Resolution. A member of the South Carolina Bar and its Trial and Appellate Advocacy, and Corporate, Banking and Security Law Sections, Mr. Quattlebaum is a member of the South Carolina Bar House of Delegates, having been elected to represent the Thirteenth Judicial District. He is admitted to practice before the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina. Mr. Quattlebaum regularly represents clients in jurisdictions throughout the Southeast, and has tried cases in Maine and New York. Mr. Quattlebaum is a member of the American Bar Association (Business Law and Litigation Sections), the Defense Research Institute, the Greenville County Bar Association, and the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys' Association. In 1989 Mr. Quattlebaum received a Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law where he was named to the Order of the Coif and served as a legal writing instructor. He was a member of the South Carolina Law Review, Phi Beta Kappa, and the Order of Wig and Robe. Mr. Quattlebaum received a Bachelor of Arts in History, cum laude, from Rhodes College in 1986.
